Description
What is it?
JR S-H151, a "Male USB C to Female USB A adaptor" is like a translator between two plug types. Here's what it does:
Regular plug (Male USB A):
This is the older, rectangular USB plug you see on many devices.
New plug (Male USB C):
This is the slimmer, oval-shaped plug on newer laptops, phones, and tablets.
Female port:
This is the socket that the plug fits into.
So, the adapter lets you use a regular USB A cable (like the one for a flash drive) with a device that has a new USB C port.
Creative uses?
Use an old flash drive with a new laptop: If your new laptop only has USB C ports, this adapter lets you plug in your old USB A flash drive.
Connect a USB microphone to a phone: If your phone has a USB C port and you want to use a regular USB microphone for recording, this adapter helps!
Charge a phone with an old power bank: If you have a portable phone charger (power bank) with a USB A output and your phone has a USB C port, this adapter lets you use them together.
Basically, it helps you connect things that wouldn't normally work together because of the different plug shapes.
